Hello after a nice long break from posting! I admit, with everything going on in the world I've been dragging my feet on sharing artwork here. The heaviness of recent events has made me pause many times, questioning the purpose of my contributions to this small corner of the internet. Maybe you can relate to my recent state of being consumed with the news and feeling a bit paralyzed on how to move forward. Without answers, I'll just dive back in... here's a house portrait I painted last month as a client Christmas gift. When my #TopNine posts of 2020 were generated, 3 of the top 4 posts were house portraits, which I interpret as a green light to keep painting these commissions!
